Monaco has a wide range of attractions to offer for cruise tourists. Most spend their
time just looking and the area around Place de Casino is the most visited. Here are the
Casinos, the most exclusive shopping facilities, famous restaurants (like Cafe de Paris)
and hotels (Hotel de Paris and Fairmount), beautiful gardens and the tourist office.
Some don’t come any further than the main Port - Port Hercule - where all the amazing
boats are. At Rocher de Monaco - the Rock of Monaco, you will find the Prince's Palace,
the Musée Océanographique (the aquarium and the Oceanographic Institute) and
several other museums. If you just prefer a day or some hours at the beach, Lavrotto
Beach along Avenue Princesse Grace has a nice sandy beach and many great beach
clubs and restaurants. If you enjoy modern architecture, Monaco has many great
